Part-Time Service Technician

Job Role: A Part-Time Service Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role.

Pay: $25-30/hour, dependent on experience

Schedule: This part-time role requires 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, scheduled within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for a total of 10 hours per week

 

About the Position:

Key Duties:

  • Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical integrity inspections at client facilities.
  • Regularly report inspection findings to the Service Manager.
  • Accurately input inspection results into the system using a computer.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED, HVAC tech school preferred
  • Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain
  • Company is a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the job site(s).
  • The position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
  • Excellent physical condition as you will be required to climb ladders and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
  • Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
