Description:

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is expanding and has an opening for a Compliance Engineer. As a Compliance Engineer you will be provided with the training and industry knowledge necessary to become an integral member of the Process Safety Compliance team. The Compliance Engineer has the critical responsibility of ensuring that facilities know how to stay in compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP).

About the Position:

Key Duties:

  • Researching and understanding the Federal, State, and local guidelines that influence compliance
  • Reviewing Engineering drawings/Interpreting P&IDs for industrial refrigeration systems
  • Developing and maintaining industrial refrigeration standard operating procedures
  • Entering facility plans/procedures into the ePSM system so compliance can be well documented and auditable

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Outstanding organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Be available Mon-Fri; regular overtime is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or other related focus preferred
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • 3+ years of related work experience is preferred.
