Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a Marketing Manager that is able to manage & create content about technically complex topics in the industrial refrigeration & safety software realms. This person will also need to be passionate about business-to-business SaaS marketing to promote this content. The Marketing Manager will develop content for a wide range of channels including blog articles, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and ads. You will develop our company brand and voice as well as an inbound marketing strategy that gets results.

The ideal candidate is part blogger, technical writer, copywriter, growth hacker, and inbound marketing strategist. You have a prior understanding of workplace safety and HR or you’re willing and very interested in learning. Your goal is to develop blog posts and collateral that communicates how our services and software solves customer needs, enables our sales team, and drives successful inbound marketing strategies. You must have a mastery of the English language and writing must be one of your passions. It is your writing and creativity that will be critical to meeting our aggressive marketing goals and increasing brand awareness. This position will require someone who is capable of doing independent research with little oversight to interview and deliver content. We consider this a management role and we are looking for a high performer!

About the Position:

Key Duties:

  • Creating and managing the company brand and public image
  • Learning our solutions and the problems we solve for our customers
  • Driving content strategy and campaigns through technical articles on industry specific topics
  • Interviewing thought leaders in the company to create industry-leading content
  • Creating blog posts, landing pages, and short eBooks
  • Writing copy and page content for our marketing website
  • Pitching articles to influencers, journalists and guest posting on industry blogs and media
  • Creating drip marketing content and managing email campaigns
  • Setting lofty goals, measuring your own success, and finding growth opportunities
  • Staying up-to-date on the Safety & HR industry landscapes and becoming a go-to source for the latest trends and debates
  • Attending industry and community events to write articles promoting the company
  • Using photography along with content writing to bring appealing visuals into company content (websites, social media, etc)

Requirements:

  • A knack for talking to people and a storytelling talent that closes deals
  • A serious passion for writing great content
  • Tenacious research and project management abilities
  • Experience with SaaS and B2B cloud software companies a plus
  • Experience with Photoshop, HTML, and InDesign highly preferred
  • Exceptional ability to create simple product messaging from a complex product
  • A four-year college degree highly preferred. Journalism, Marketing, or PR a plus
