Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking to place an energetic, results-oriented, tech-savvy Software Customer Support Specialist in Lyndhurst, Va. This position will be responsible for providing excellent support to our customers in the engineering services, classroom training, and software divisions of our company. This position will require someone capable of learning the industry and technical terms in order to present themselves as a technical resource to our customer base. Strategic communication and research is required to expand our network of opportunities. This position will also require someone who is customer-focused and capable of communicating while developing long-lasting relationships with our customer base.

Training: At Innovative, we invest in our employees. As a new hire for our sales department, you will receive the training needed to succeed in your role. This will include: Purchasing/vendor training, cold call/email training, training on our various software packages, product webinar training, and general refrigeration training.

About the Position:

Key Duties:

  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships.
  • Follow-up on all customer inquiries/concerns promptly.
  • Consult with customers as a technical resource for products being sold.
  • Conduct product training webinars to existing customers and as a sales tool
  • Promote various services/products including training programs and software.
  • Grow our customer base through various methods including prospecting/cold calling.
  • Collaborate with support staff to facilitate the exchange of customers whose needs extend beyond the sales department.
  • Handle general customer service with existing accounts, including communicating directly with the customers to facilitate services after quoting is completed.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Deadline driven.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • 1+ years of general sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work 45-50-hour work weeks.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM software a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment but also independently with little supervision.
  • Good phone presence and ability to engage with customers over phone and through email.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and database entry.
