We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our growing construction team.  This position offers competitive hourly pay, full benefits, paid travel, mileage reimbursement, paid hotels and per diem! This position will be a part of our construction team and will work closely with the other skilled trade employees in the install and setup of industrial refrigeration equipment. This position will be responsible for running conduit & wiring for these systems, as well as performing troubleshooting during the install process. Key Duties:

  • Run conduit, wiring, hook-up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, transformers, and wire terminations
  • Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair various electrical components and systems including medium/high voltage automation systems and motor control circuits
  • Installation and troubleshooting for wiring system layouts and circuit routing
  • Operate forklifts and/or scissor lifts as required
  • Read engineering drawings and schematics (Mechanical/Electrical) while also keeping them up to date
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLC sensors
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems on all refrigeration equipment
  • Assist in general construction duties
  • Safely and properly use electrical testing equipment

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of four years' experience in an industrial setting. Journeyman license preferred
  • Must have experience running and bending rigid conduit (up to at least 4 inches)
  • Must have knowledge of three-phase motors
  • Experience with 480v AC motor control circuits preferred
  • PLC experience preferred (Installation & troubleshooting)
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code
  • Excellent mechanical skills required
  • Extensive Nationwide travel required (typical tour is from the Tuesday of the 1st week to the Thursday of the 2nd week, with 12 hour days)
  • Must have valid driver’s license, capable of driving up to 10 hours, and able to operate industrial lifts
  • Ability to see and hear industrial equipment as it moves around the jobsite
  • Requires working in very hot (above 100F) or very cold (below 10F) temperatures and the ability to wear all required safety PPE in these conditions
  • Must be willing to help the jobsite team in the following areas:  insulation, welding, and painting
  • This position is a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing
  • Position requires pre-employment background check and drug screening.  If you have had a DUI in the last 5 years, you will not be hired.
