We are seeking Production Staff who are looking to take the first step towards becoming a licensed journeyman tradesman. We currently offer apprenticeship programs in: Pipe Welding, Industrial Electricity, Mechanical Insulation, and Ammonia Refrigeration. This Entry-Level position would be evaluated during a 6-9-month training period and transitioned into a state-licensed apprenticeship program. The ideal candidate is career-oriented and goal-driven, with growth and leadership potential. Before transitioning into the apprenticeship program, this position will be responsible for rigging, painting, insulation, and other various tasks assigned by management.

Key Duties:

  • Rigging equipment
  • Safely operating a fork truck
  • Grinding, sanding, or brazing
  • Painting
  • Pipe insulation
  • Maintaining good housekeeping & safety regulations on the shop floor
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • After six-to-nine months of successful baseline training, transition into apprenticeship program will be evaluated.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of basic measurements & how to read a tape measure
  • Construction/manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to pass a motor vehicle check
  • Regular attendance and punctuality at assigned times is required
  • Good mechanical ability, reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must be willing to work some Saturday shifts and be open to overtime
  • This position is a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing
