Description:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the charge by having a hands-on approach to analyzing production methods, implementing new technologies, and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 

Key Duties:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of process improvement initiatives across the company to enhance competitiveness and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate engineering, manufacturing, and construction methods, technology applications, and workflow processes, applying lean and continuous improvement skills.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, execute, monitor, and improve company objectives.
  • Identify safety-training needs and develop training curriculum and materials within the company STAR program.
  • Demonstrate operational knowledge of construction and service standards, driving team progress.
  • Manage and implement processes within the company's ERP system.
  • Enhance the efficiency of service and maintenance operations in the field.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and video walk-throughs to ensure consistent training and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and ensure quality assurance.
  • Provide project oversight and assistance to cross-functional management and staff.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience or degree.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies: Six Sigma, PDCA, Gemba, SIPOC.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with a wide range of individuals, from craft workers to senior management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork orientation.
  • Experience writing queries and performing statistical analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage project teams in process improvement areas.

 

Preferences:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
  • Experience with Epicor ERP system.
