Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to lead efforts in process improvement, data analytics, and scheduling. This role is pivotal in optimizing operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.
Key Duties:
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Develop and standardize operating procedures to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline manufacturing and service operations.
- Data Analytics:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support strategic initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Leverage statistical methods and predictive modeling to forecast trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Scheduling and Planning:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and department leads to ensure resource allocation aligns with priorities.
- Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to respond to changing demands and constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process improvement, data analytics, and/or scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the industrial refrigeration or HVAC industry.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
