Account Manager 

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a results-oriented Account Manager in Lyndhurst, VA. This role will focus on expanding our customer base across multiple business units, including our refrigeration training school (IRTC) and our Engineering Services teams, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.

Job Role: The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while ensuring that customer needs are met across our entire product portfolio. This position will serve as both a relationship builder and a technical consultant, representing the company at industry events and ensuring client satisfaction from first contact through ongoing service.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting new business opportunities to closing deals and managing accounts within the refrigeration sector.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective accounts.
  • Manage all aspects of aftermarket training and sales.
  • Serve as a technical consultant on our product range, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are being addressed effectively.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and services.
  • Provide customer service for both existing and new business accounts, facilitating services after quoting is completed.
  • Grow the customer base through various methods, including prospecting and cold calling.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM systems.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact professionally with both site-level personnel and corporate executives.
  • Mechanical inclination with the ability to communicate technical information to customers.
  • Proficiency with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional email etiquette.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods.
  • Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment).

Preferences:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing business development or sales role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
  • Prior experience with company-led training programs is desirable.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue and profit targets.
