Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a results-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Lyndhurst, VA. This role ensures accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments to support both manufacturing and construction operations.

Job Role:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth logistical operations at our Lyndhurst facility. This position is responsible for verifying, documenting, and handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and contributes directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties:
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments of tools, materials, and jobsite supplies
- Verify and maintain records of shipments using the company’s ERP system
- Assemble/disassemble products and prepare items for shipment to and from jobsites
- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle check
- Willingness to work occasional Saturday shifts and overtime
- Regular and punctual attendance required
- Ability to wear all required PPE and work in environments that may be very hot or cold
- This is a safety-sensitive position and requires pre-employment and ongoing drug testing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
- Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.
Preferences:
- Previous experience in construction or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving best practices
- ERP system experience
