Account Executive
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a customer-oriented and results-driven Account Executive (AE) to work closely with Business Development and SaaS Success to manage relationships, increase revenue growth, and develop new business opportunities.
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.
Job Role: The Account Executive is responsible for cultivating high-profile client relationships and delivering customized services that align with customer needs and company objectives. This role works closely with sales and support teams to ensure long-term partner success and manage operational aspects across key accounts. Responsibilities include aftermarket sales (Engineering, training, and software), prospecting and outreach, compliance tracking, and managing executive-level initiatives. This is an intermediate-level sales position with collaborative opportunities across departments.
Key Duties:
- Generate quotes for engineering, training, and software services
- Identify sales opportunities through research and strategic outreach
- Expand company presence within the industry
- Conduct product training webinars for existing customers and prospects
- Consult with customers as a technical resource on product offerings
- Attend trade shows and conferences to promote the company and services
- Follow up on all sales opportunities and customer inquiries/concerns promptly
- Provide general customer service for existing and new business accounts
- Cultivate and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Grow the customer base through prospecting and cold calling
- Promote company services and products including training programs and software
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs across departments
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in general sales and/or customer service preferred
- Confident phone presence and professional email communication skills
- Ability to virtually present our products and offerings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and database entry
- Knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms
- Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving and goal-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (Seated or standing) for extended periods
- Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (E.g., office supplies, small equipment)
Preferences:
- Prior experience in technical sales, software, or industrial services
- Familiarity with refrigeration, engineering, compliance, or construction industries
